Moving Source of Sound

A car drives along a straight, level road on a warm day when the temperature is 27C and there is very little wind. The passenger is holding an airhorn out the window. A stationary observer by the roadside has a microphone to record the sound of the airhorn. The audio track on the movie is from that microphone.

This video may be used in class along with a video of a moving source of waves in a ripple tank.
